Note
: Secure Conference works through most firewalls. If you connect to the internet through a very restrictive firewall which only allows web access, some of your firewall settings may need to be modified to allow video and audio to pass through. Contact
support@omnovia.com
for more information.
Quick Setup
Please ensure you are using a browser that supports Adobe Flash Player 9.
Go to the
Guest Attendees' login page
by clicking on the link provided by the conference operators.
Note
: Secure Conference V3 requires Adobe Flash Player 9. The login page should prompt you to upgrade your current version of Adobe Flash Player if it is below version 9. To install it now, please go to
http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
Open Room
Type in your first and last name as well as the
password
provided in your email.
Click on the '
Click Here to Enter Room
' button to enter the room.
Note
:
In order for the room to be active, a room operator must be present. The room will activate once the room operator enters and begins the session. There is no need to log out and log back in. Using the Room
As soon as you are connected in the room, you will be able to see the live image and hear the presenter.
You can enter your questions in the 'Text Area' and click the 'Send' button to enter messages.
By default you do not have the 'right' to talk unless the Presenter grants you access.
To close the session, click on the
Exit the Room
button at the top of the room window.
