Please follow the simple instructions below to set up your microphone. Although the steps below are for Windows 7, very similar instructions work on Windows XP. Please note that USB microphones might operate differently. Refer to your microphone manual for details.

To broadcast audio from Microphone only

1. Plug in the microphone
2. If USB microphone wait for this icon to appear in the lower right hand corner of your desktop
   
3. In your Web Conference room, on the lower left hand corner, click the microphone icon.
   
4. In the new window that pops up, click on the microphone icon on the bottom.
   
5. Choose your microphone in the drop down menu as well as the recording volume then click "close"
6. Choose "Allow"
   
7. You can test your microphone here. Speak and a moment later you will hear yourself on your computer speakers. hit "Ok" when you are satisified. Note: Attendees will NOT hear this testing phase.
   
8. You are now ready to begin speaking so everyone in your web conferencing room can hear you
